Chess Club is designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess, improve their chess skills, and to enjoy challenging their peers, while experiencing healthy competition and team spirit. All grades 5-8 are invited to join.

1st Tuesday of the month - Open Play (Join a group of club members and play a game together. Example: a Roblox game)
2nd Tuesday - Event (We all play a game together. Example: Minecraft)
3rd Tuesday - Open Play
4th Tuesday - Tournament (We complete to see who or what team is the overall winner! Example: Fortnite)
Sudoku and Tangram Club.
- Meets: Wednesday 2:40PM-4:10PM
- Open for 6th-8th graders

The club will teach students how to solve Sudoku Puzzles and students will work on solving different puzzles each week which will progress in difficulty. Students will also solve and create Tangram Puzzles.
Middle School Unplugged
- Meets: Thursdays 2:40pm-4:10pm

Turn off your devices and tune in to one another!
Students will engage in classic board games, card games, improv games, and arts and crafts without the distraction of technology. They will practice taking turns, making eye contact with each other, verbal communication, face to face connections and sportsmanship. If you would like to connect with your friends, in person, please join us in room 416 on select Thursdays from 2:40-4:00. email Mrs. Maldonado [email protected] for a permission slip.
