Supply List for 5th Grade 2023-2024
The following is a list of basic supplies that students will need in 5th grade. These are the supplies needed for Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
 
Teachers of other subjects may request additional supplies.
 
6 Mead marble notebooks.
-2 for Math, 1 for ELA, 1 for Social Studies, 1 for Science
Please write your name on each one and then we will label them in class together (please try to get 200 page notebooks):
 
6 very sturdy, 2-pocket folders – write your name on them and we will label them in class
 
Pencil case to hold the following supplies
  • pencils and erasers
  • colored pencils
  • 1 large glue stick
  • Scotch tape
  • erasers
  • pencil sharpener
 
1 roll of paper towels
1 box of tissues
1 package of wipes
 
Students need to keep their belongings with them throughout the day.
School bags with wheels are not permitted.
Please replace all supplies as needed.

Supply List for 6th Grade CORE Subjects

2023-2024

 

The following is a list of supplies needed for 6th grade broken down by CORE subjects. Other subject areas may require different/additional materials:

 

FOR HOMEROOM CLASS:

  • Boxes of Tissues
  • Paper towels
  • Computer paper
  • Hand sanitizer

MATH and SCIENCE:

  • 5 pocket accordion folder - (to hold IM math workbook, notebooks, loose papers)
  • 2 composition notebooks or 2 single subject spiral notebooks
  • Personal Tape/glue stick for attaching papers to notebook
  • Package of pencils (to be collected by teacher)
  • Expo dry erase markers (to be collected by teacher)

ELA and SOCIAL STUDIES:

  • Post-its
  • 1 folder
  • 1 Composition notebook

GENERAL SUPPLIES TO BE CARRIED BY STUDENT TO ALL CLASSES:

  • DOE issued Tablet or Chromebook 
  • Pencil case
  • Pencils and erasers
  • Sharpener with cover to hold shavings
  • Pens (blue or black ink) - all subjects
  • Highlighters 
  • 1 large glue stick OR Personal tape roll
  • Post-its
  • Colored Pencils
  • Colored Pen for editing (other than blue or black ink)

· 5 composition notebooks, (please try to get 200 page notebooks): 1 for ELA, 1 for SS, 1 for Spanish, and 2 for General Science.

· 11 very sturdy, 2-pocket folders (plastic preferred) 6 for Math, 1 for ELA, 1 for SS, 1 for Spanish and 2 for Gen. Science.

· Pencils (sharpened or mechanical with lead) – all subjects

· Erasers (separate from pencils) – all subjects

· Pencil sharpener (with cap that holds shavings) – all subjects

· Pens (black/blue/red) – all subjects

· Colored pencils – all subjects

· Loose-leaf – all subjects

· Index cards 3X5 – all subjects

· 30 cm ruler – all subjects

· Highlighters – all subjects

· Post-its – for Spanish

· Computer paper - for Art & ELA

· 2 black Sharpie markers (regular tip & fine tip) - for Art

· Pencil case to hold all supplies – all subjects

· 1 roll of paper towels – for Art

· Lysol wipes - for Science

· 1 ½ “ 3-ring binder – for Earth Science Regents students only

· 1 pack of 8 dividers - for Earth Science Regents students only

· 1 pack of loose-leaf reinforcements - for Earth Science Regents students only

· Pencil case that fits into a 3-ring binder - for Earth Science Regents students only

· Small pack of plastic sheet protector w/holes pk of 24 - for Earth Science Regents students only

· Calculator (inexpensive 4 function) - for Earth Science Regents students only

 

Students need to keep their coats and their lunches in their lockers.

 

Please be reminded that it is the student’s responsibility to replace all supplies as needed.

 

Please also keep at home: notebook, loose-leaf, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, construction paper, scissors and coloring pencils.

2023/2024

 

The following is a list of basic supplies that students will need in 8th grade. These are the supplies needed for Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, Spanish and Art. Teachers of other subjects may request additional supplies.

· 5 Highlighters assorted colors – all subjects

· Daily Planner, Agenda, or dedicated notepad to keep track of assignment.
