Seed to Plate

Seed to Plate is a virtual after school club that meet on Mondays from 6-7 p.m.
 
The program is in partnership with GrowNYC.  
 
"Seed to Plate, our nutrition education program for fifth and sixth graders, tells the story of local food and why it's important for our bodies, the environment, and our community, inspiring healthy food choices and environmental leaders."
 
Throughout the program students will sample local Apple Cider and fresh produce from farmer's markets in Queens, they will tour the Queens County Farm Museum, and speak to a local farmer.
 
There are still spots available so please click HERE if you are interested in registering. Also, please reach out to Mr. Blum, program facilitator at jblum@schools.nyc.gov to let him know you have registered. You child will receive an invitation to the club's google Classroom once accepted.
